DIVING

Although Anantara doesn't have a house reef, there are still plenty of opportunities to experience the splendid underwater world of the Maldives from here. The Anantara Dive Centre offers 2 boat dives a day to over 20 nearby reefs. The Dive Centre also runs full and half day 'safari dives' to reefs reached by speedboat along with night dives for those of you who really want the full experience of the undersea life.

Anantara are teamed up with Ocean Paradise (Dive Centre) and offer a full range of PADI certification courses for beginners to avid divers.

The Deluxe Beach Front Villas are stylish and light rooms which open out onto the beach. They also have an outdoor shower and bath and a private terrace. The Beach Front Villas with a pool share the same luxuries but include and pool.

The Over Water Suites baosting some of the best waters bungalows in the Maldives, quite a claim, but superbly imaginative design which includes a private water front deck and an infinity edged bathtub. The suite with a pool has an added plunge pool to this.

FOOD & DRINK

Anantara offers a range of restaurants, including Baan Huraa, a Thai cuisine located on stilts over the edge of the reef, which requires a boat ride to get there, this is the pick of the restaurants. Terrazzo, is an Italian cuisine with views over the lagoon and beach, whilst Fushi Cafe sits on the beach and is great for day time snacking or breakfast. Fuddan Fusion Grill offers local fresh seafoodand the finest of meats, set over the water.

There is also the option to order your choice of candlelit meal on the beach or a BBQ on your terrace for private romantic experience and if you enjoy the odd cocktail, the Aqua Bar is ideal to unwind and watch the sunsetting over the sea.
