ANGSANA VELAVARU
This island lies in a southern atoll with a really remote feel. This remoteness is enhanced by the virtually untouched dive site and desert islands. The resort is simple, with few excursions and minimal nightlife, but after a recent take over from Banyan Tree it exudes a chic style. The transfer to the island takes 40 minutes by seaplane, which is a beautiful way to view the nation of a collection of atolls from above.

DIVING
Angsana Velavaru has a exceedingly colourful house reef just 10 minutes away by boat and is an area largely unexplored by divers. The resort also send boats out in the mornings to various dives site within an hours radius of the island.
ACCOMMODATION
Beachfront Villa, Beachfront Jet Pool Villa, Deluxe Beachfront Pool Villa, Valavaru Villa, Angsana Villa.
The Beachfront rooms are sea facing with a large veranda, private garden and both indoor and outdoor showers. These rooms are mirrored by the Beachfront Jet Pool Villas and Deluxe Beachfront Pool Villas with the add on of a pool. (Deluxe = private pool).
The Velavaru Villa is comprised of a large indoor and outdoor relaxing areas witha private pool, jet pool and garden.
The Angsana Villa contains $ villas and is set away from the other rooms. Separate dinning, living and lounge areas, a private pool and open air jet pool allow for extreme relaxation.
FOOD & DRINK
Funa is an over water restaurant with a delicious sea food grill and distinct Maldivian taste, whereas Kaani, located on the beachfront, serves a western buffet breakfast and an Asian variation on the lunches. Alternatively, Kuredi serves snacks throughout the day and offers cocktails at sunset.
