Colours of India

We are the UK's leading team of Destination Specialists dedicated to designing and arranging tailor-made holidays to India.

We believe that the secret of a truly relaxing holiday is the confidence of knowing that you are in safe hands while exploring exotic and beautiful places.  We have all traveled extensively throughout our regions of expertise to ensure our advice is non biased and first hand and we pay particular attention to what makes a fulfilling and enriching holiday. We have been working with our carefully chosen partners in each of our destinations for over 10 years and our clients comments bear testiment to our commitment to delivering a service that allows you to get the most out of your time away.

We have also put together a number of 'Special Interest' group departures in the forthcoming season. If you are interested in photography, you may like to join Nigel Wilson on his 'Images of India' trip in October. For those interested in learning the art of Keralan cuisine, celebrity chef Valentina Harris is leading a group of foodies on an Epicurean Endeavor to discover the subtleties of Southern Indian cooking. For the more intrepid, our very own herptofile, Paul Greig Smith, is leading a group in search of the King Cobra in the Western Ghats.

Once you have studied the ideas and expertise we have to offer, call or email one of our consultants who would be delighted to help plan your perfect getaway.

Indian Wildlife

India has several national parks where the visitor can be introduced to the natural splendours of the subcontinent. Although the tiger is, to many, the main attraction of Indian Wildlife, it is by no means the only species to admire. The Asiatic lion can be found in Gujurat, herds of elephant in the southern states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and the Indian rhinoceros still roams the plains of Kaziranga. Bison, sambar deer, jackals, leopards, panthers, wild dogs and bears can also be found and the birdlife is prolific. Have a look at these two great itineraries to India's best National Parks.
