Dundlod Fort, Dundlod

A 17th century fort encircled by a moat and surrounded by sand dunes, in the heart of the Shekhawati region. The décor is a mix of the Mughal and Rajputana schools of art, a lot of the furniture is Louis XIV and the Library has a good collection of rare books on Indian History. There is also an Equestrian and Polo Centre, with the owner of the fort on hand to offer advice and instruction if required.
