Ella Lodge, Ella

This stylish, rustic ‘eco-resort’ is located in the lush forest on the edge of an escarpment leading down from the central mountains to the plains on the south-eastern seaboard. Activities include swimming in natural rock pools, canoeing, abseiling and trekking. There are also several interesting sites close by, such as the temples at Dowa and Bogoda, and some of the finest tea plantations on the island. Accommodation is in Adobe huts, chalets and even a wonderful Tree House.
