KUREDU

Kuredu is one of the larger islands in the Maldives, so much so there is a golf course located on it. This 4 Star resort is well managed with plenty of activities to be done, including a great dive school. The island is in a remote location and allows for you to get the Maldivian feeling of being away from the world. The accommodation is also very commendable.

Kuredu offers a great diving programme, with some of the best diving instructors around. The facilities from the dive centre are second to none and there are numerous dive sites to choose from, based on ones ability and preference. The island also boasts a great house reef for those who wish to participate in some snorkeling.

All the rooms offer air-conditioning, a bar, a safe, tea/coffee facilities and a CD player.

The Beach Bungalows are well furnished with an open air bathroom, terrace and sun bed.

The Beach Villas all have views of the ocean and spacious rooms. The bathroom is open air and there is a walk in shower and a veranda.

The Jacuzzi Beach villas are similar to the above with a larger deck with a Jacuzzi.

The Water Villas sit over the lagoon with access to the water and a beautiful panoramic view. The guests of these rooms also have a private restaurant within the resort called Sangu.

The Honeymoon Suite is also located over the water and shares similar amenities but is over a separate lagoon to provide ultimate privacy.

FOOD & DRINK

There are plenty of places to wine and dine on this island, including two internation and local buffets, Bonthi & Coamas, BBQ's and seafood at The Beach, Thai food in The Far East, Italian food at Fianco's and Maldivian food at the Tea House.

There also a number of bar with differing styles, from entertainment and disco in Babuna Bar to quiet and romantic in Akirri Bar. There is also a bar by the pool and at the golf course, aptly named the Pool Bar and the Golf Bar.
