La Residence, Hue

A former governor's residence which has been converted into an idyllic boutique hotel on the banks of the PerfumeRiver, overlooking the former Imperial Citadel. The distinctive Art Deco design is reminiscent of colonial times and the suites in the original building are truly spectacular. Each is individually designed with four-poster beds, beautiful period furniture and spacious terraces where guests can relax in the tropical breeze and watch the sun disappear slowly over the horizon.
