Lighthouse Hotel, Galle

A chic, elegant, luxury hotel, designed by Geoffrey Bawa, overlooking the ocean and with all the benefits of a cool sea breeze. The rooms are classically understated, with white furnishings, wooden floors and lots of natural light. Beautiful original antique reproductions and originals adorn the public areas whilst the gardens are interspersed with natural watercourses leading down to the beach. The spa is reputed to be the best in Galle, there are two large swimming pools and an excellent ‘fine dining’ restaurant in addition to the main restaurant and pool bar.
