Sapa

Nestled high in Vietnam’s northeast mountains, cascading emerald green rice paddies and pine clad hills make up much of the spectacular scenery and on a clear day the vistas are breathtaking. Home to a colourful array of some 30 indigenous tribes such as the H’mong and Dzao who congregate in the local market selling their wares, Sapa is a fascinating and beautiful mountain retreat, where trekking and photographic opportunities are plentiful.
