Siem Reap

 The Gateway to Angkor, this once sleepy town has rapidly grown with the increased numbers of visitors who flock to see the temples each year. Tourists of all ages and nationalities meander through the tree-lined streets and boulevards. The town boasts some very sophisticated and stylish hotels and restaurants. Thankfully, it still exudes a tranquil atmosphere and one could easily spend a week here, exploring the temples, visiting the local markets and enjoying the vibrant yet relaxed nightlife.
