Sun Island is one of the busiest islands resorts in the Maldives. DIVING

Sun Island resort dive centre has all the equipment for you to have as much fun underwater as possible. Boat dives are done three times a day and night dives twice a week. The diving school is set to the side of the island, connected by a wide jetty. Once in the water you will be surrounded by the beautiful blue lagoons which engulf the island. PADI qualifies divers will take you down to experience this underwater paradise.

Deluxe Rooms, (136)    Super Deluxe Rooms, (218)    Water Bungalows, (64)    Presidential Suites, (4).

All the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows are built on the beach with a sea view and a verander. The Water Bungalows are built on stilts over the water, with a private sun deck and direct access to the lagoon.

The Presidential Suites consist of one master bedroom and one twin bedroom with ensuite bathrooms, a living room, private bar and large terrace with a Jacuzzi.

 

FOOD & DRINK

The Maaniya Restaurant & Southern Star both serve a continental buffet, Al Pontile Resuarant is a Japanese & Italian style bistro.

The Grill Terrace offers a BBQ and Indian food, whilst Sun Star provides the options of Thai and Chinese food.

The resort also has a range of bars, including Mekunu Bar, Lobby Bar, Pool Bar, Beach Bar and Club Green Bar. All offering a different atmosphere.
