TAJ CORAL REEF

Taj Coral Reef resort is on a small island with a good house reef, which has its own wreck. The service of the staff is very commendable and the rooms comfortable, if a little dated. The island is quiet for the most part although a disco and crab racing does occur once a week.

DIVING

Taj Coral Reef possess a great house reef with its own ship wreck. There are numerous amounts of exotic fish to be spotted and an array of dive site near by. The resort also offers the opportunity to attain PADI certification.

Beach Villas, (2)    Lagoon Villas, (8)    Deluxe Beach Villas, (6)    Deluxe Lagoon Villas, (24)    Honeymoon Lagoon Villas, (4).

The Beach Villas have sun decks and private terraces, hammocks and open air showers. They are situated on the beach and they are spacious and airy.

The Lagoon Villas are built over the water with private sun decks and direct access to the lagoon. The bath rooms have glass panels facing the lagoon for a wonderful view whilst bathing.

The Deluxe Beach Villas are similar to the Beach Villas except having a bigger bed and a more luxurious interior, including a flat screen TV and DVD player.

The Deluxe Lagoon Villas are similar to the Lagoon Villas except having a bigger bed and a more luxurious interior, including a flat screen TV and DVD player.

The Honeymoon Lagoon Villas have specially designed interiors for honeymooners and are in a more peaceful area of the island. They are similar to the Deluxe Lagoon Villas with a more lavish interior.

FOOD & DRINK

Rukkuri serves buffet meals in Maldivian, Mexican, East Asian and Italian styles, whilst Hembadhoo Palm Grill opts for more traditional seafood specials.

The Reef Bar is a lounge bar with sea views, light meals and and a variety of drinks. This is the bar where the crab racing takes place. The Beach Bar is built over the lagoon and also serve light meals.
