Udaipur is a fairytale city set on the banks of Lake Pichola and surrounded by the lush Aravali hills. The jewel of Mewar, a kingdom ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for 1200 years, Udaipur was founded by Maharana Udai Singh in the mid-16th century.
