Valentina Harris, the celebrated cookery author and Italian food expert, founded Villa Valentina Cookery Holidays and along with her trusted team and other celebrity chefs has been hosting groups of foodies at her French and Italian locations ever since.
She visited Kerala and Tamil Nadu as a guest of Colours in June 2007 and fell in love with the subtleties of southern Indian cuisine and wanted to lead a group of clients on an epicurian adventure to explore this fascinating part of the world. With a combination of luxurious hotels, charming home-stays and varying cuisines, this is a holiday to India with a difference.

Depart London heathrow for Cochin. |

| Day 02 |
You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. |

| Day 03 |
You will be met at your hotel and escorted on a private sightseeing tour of Cochin. |

| Day 04 |
You will have the at leisure, to relax and explore Cochin at your own pace.
in the evening, there will be an Indian wine tasting session at the wonderful Malabar House Residency, followed by an evening meal. |

| Day 05 |
You will be met and transferred to Alleppey, where yo will meet your flotilla of houseboats. |

Day 05 - 06 HOUSEBOAT, BACKWATERS - 1 NIGHT.

The houseboat will drop you off at Kumarakom, where you will have a traditional lunch at the exquisite Philip Kuty's Farm.
After lunch, you will board your bus for Kotamangalam. |
| Day 07 - 08 |
The group will be split up, with half being escorted on a visit to the Kotamangalam Bird sanctuary while the other half spend the day with Valentina and Daisy learning a few Keralan specialities and vice versa on the following day. |

| Day 09 |
You will be transferred by road into the Western Ghats to the spice plantations of Thekkady. In the afternoon there will be a cooking demonstration by the hotel chefs and a guided tour of the spice gardens. |

Day 10 - 14 CARDAMOM HOUSE, DINDIGUL DISTRICT - 4 NIGHTS. |

| Day 11 - 13 |
You will have the run of the house and Valentina will be on hand for cooking lessons throughout the day. Walks, picnics and evening parties are the order of the day. |

| Day 14 |
You will be met and transferred to the Madurai airport for your flight to Chennai.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. |

You will be met by your guide, who will escort you on a sightseeing tour of Chennai. |
