In Search of the Tiger - Delhi, Ranthambhore National Park, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Agra, Bandhavgarh & Kanha National Park

Two weeks in some of India’s best wildlife sanctuaries in search of the elusive tiger, with a stop in Agra to marvel at the Taj Mahal.

Day 01

Depart for Delhi.

Overnight Flight


Day 02

Arrive Delhi. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.

The afternoon can be spent simply relaxing in your hotel or by exploring Delhi at your own pace.

Trident Gurgoan, Tikkli Bottom, Oberoi Delhi, The Imperial.

Day 03 

You will be transferred to the station in time to catch the morning train to Sawai Madhopur. Here you will be met and transferred to your lodge on the border of Ranthambore National Park.

Sher Bagh, Aman-i-Khas, Vanyavilas, Khem Villas.

Day 04

Morning and evening game drives into Ranthambhore National Park in search of the elusive Panthera tigris tigris.

Day 05

After your morning game drive, you will be met and transferred to the station in time to catch the train to Bharatpur. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to visit the Bird Sanctuary.

Day 06

After an early morning visit to the Bird Sanctuary, you will be met and transferred to Agra, via the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 07

You will be met by a guide who will escort you on a sightseeing tour of Agra and the Taj Mahal.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the station in time to catch the overnight train to Umaria.

Day 08

Early morning: You will be met on arrival in Umaria and transferred by road to Bandhavgarh National Park.

In the evening, you will be taken for a game drive in the park.

Day 09

Morning and evening game drives into Bandhavgarh.

Day 10 After an early morning game drive you will be met and transferred by road to Kanha. This is a long but scenic drive through rural countryside and takes you via a Fossil Park where you will stop for lunch. Sher Bagh, Singinawa, Tuli Tiger Corridor, Banjar Tola

Day 11 Morning and evening game drives into Kanha National Park.

Day 12 Morning and evening game drives into Kanha National Park.

Day 13

After an early morning game drive you will be met and transferred to Nagpur in time to check in to your flight to Bombay.

On arrival in Bombay you will be met and transferred to the international terminal for your flight back home.

Day 14 Arrive home.
