From the emerald rice paddies of Sapa in the far north and the beautiful islands of Halong Bay, to the charming historical town of Hoi An and the bustling streets of Saigon, this is a classic two week journey through this enchanting country.

 Depart London for Hanoi, via Bangkok.

You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.

You will have the remainder of the day to relax in the hotel or explore Hanoi at your own pace. 

After breakfast you will be taken on a private sightseeing tour of the city, including a visit to the One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and the museum of ethnology where you can learn about Vietnam's diverse ethnic cultures. Later in the day there is perhaps no better way to get a feel for this city than a cyclo tour through the fascinating "Old Quarter".

You will then be taken back to your hotel where you will have the opportunity to freshen up before you are transferred to the train station in time to board the overnight train to Sapa.

You will be met and escorted on a private sightseeing tour of the Bac Ha market and then trek on to the Flower H’mong village of Banpho before being transferred back to your hotel – this is a full day excursion.

A late check out is included today, later in the day you will be transferred to the train station at Lao Cai in time to board the overnight train back to Hanoi.  

Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Sofitel Metropole where you will be able to have breakfast and have the use of a room in which to freshen up. You will then be transferred to Halong Bay approximately 3 ½ hours drive away, stopping at a local coffee shop along the way.

Early breakfast & Tai Chi demonstration on deck followed by coffee. Visit Sung Sot Grotto & fishing village. Buffet lunch will be served on board – then arrive at pier at 11:00 and disembark. You will then be transferred to Phu Lang pottery village and will be able to observe their century old methods of production.

You will then be transferred to the airport in time to check in for your flight to Hue. 

You will be met and escorted on a private sightseeing tour of Hue which will include a boat trip on the perfume river.

After breakfast you will transferred to Bach Ma National Park and then later in the day on to Hoi An.

You will be met and escorted on a private sightseeing tour of Hoi An.

You will be met and transferred to Danang airport in time to check in for your flight to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
